Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge 171

This is my second post today! Yeh Me! lol  These are the colors for the color challenge over at Pals Paper Arts.

Yummy colors! This is my card for this challenge-

I wish you could see all of the dimension on this card! I was even able to use the positive part of the card to make an extra embellishment that I can use on another card or as a tag!

These are the ingredients. Stamp sets- Watercolor winter, which I know is a poinsettia, but with my ink pads and some gemstones I can make my own flower! Vintage Labels, Sassy Salutations and Distressed Dots.

Cardstock-Baked brown sugar and Very Vanilla. Ink-Baked brown sugar, Calypso coral and Versamark. Framelits- Window frames collection. Punch-Martha Stewart. Twine-Calypso coral. Pearls-flatback mini pearls.

Freshly Made Sketches #103

I love how this sketch challenge for Freshly Made Sketches was so simple! I was on vacation last week with my husband, so I did not get to work on my card until yesterday. So here is my card-

There are so many ideas running thru my head that I could use for this sketch to make some quick and easy cards!

 

Here are my key ingredients-Stamp sets- Happiest Birthday Wishes and Fresh Vintage,

Happy 2nd Birthday Jeremiah!

Saturday was my grandson, Jeremiah's birthday and this is the card I made for him!

The card measures 5x7 inches, which was a fun size to work with, because you get to add so many cute embellishments. I made the banner using my Stampin' Up punches and an embellishment from Joanns. Dora and Diego are embellishments from Jolee's. The grass was made from an EK Success punch. My grandson liked his card, as much as a two year old with balloons, cake, ice cream, presents, music and a clown can like something! It was a great day and a great party! PPA170-A Color Challenge

This is my first time participating in the PPA, but I am glad that I decided to try the challenge! It was a little hard using that Early Espresso with the Midnight Muse and Crushed Curry, because I love how the blue and gold looked together, but I managed to come up with something.

 

 

I used my Midnight Muse as the card base, layered the Crushed Curry on top of that, and stamped my design on the white. The stamp sets I used are Create a Cupcake and my new favorite Gorgeous Grunge! Thanks for looking and have a sweet day!

Freshly Made Sketches #102

While I was out shopping this weekend I found this cute pear stamp in the $1 bin and instantly I had an idea of what I could do with it! I have a love for punny stamps and I have a set from Joy's Life that has this sentiment on it. My papers are from Stampin Up, love their cardstock! So this is my card for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge #102
