Freshly Made Sketches #170

Freshly Made Sketches #170

Hi you guys, hope everyone is having a good day! Last week for the FMS, I had my card made and pictures taken and just needed to make my blog post. I was out grocery shopping and I didn't make it back home in time :(. But this week I am a little ahead of schedule. I love participating in these sketch challenges, because you get to use up some of your supplies and I love the keep it clean look.

I also like using paper pieced and dimensional embellishments on my cards, so this sketch is perfect for that!

I also made it in orange!

These cards will make the perfect birthday card, thinking of you card and a great congrats card!

Here is what I used to create it:
Cardstock- Michaels 110 pound cardstock
Patterned paper-Doodlebug
Foil paper- American Crafts
Dies-The Stamps of Life
Sentiment-The Stamps of Life

Enjoy your day,
Lisa

Birthday card for Freshly Made Sketches #168

Happy Birthday- Freshly Made Sketches #168

Hi everyone, hope your day is going great! Today I have a card to share with you that I am entering in the Freshly Made Sketches 168 challenge!

I love the fun and simple sketches that they have at http://www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com
For my card I used cardstock from Stampin' Up and Michael's. I used my Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies from My Creative Time to cut out the stitched rectangle. I used a stamp set and glasses die from Taylored Expressions. The patterned paper is from My Minds Eye and is called cut & paste. Quick and fun to put together and now I have a birthday card in my stash for a guy.
Have a great day!
